Lewis Gibson Longsworth (November 16, 1904 – August
8, 1981) was an American chemist and biochemist. [1] [2]
The New York Times said that his research “helped to make
modern biochemistry possible,” Harold Dallas Rogers (born December 31, 1937) is the U.S.
Representative for Kentucky’s 5th congressional district,
currently serving in his 20th term, having served since 1981.
He is a member of the Republican Party. He is the dean of the
Kentucky congressional delegation.
Samuel McKee (October 13, 1774 – October 16, 1826) was a
U.S. Representative from Kentucky.
Free Frank McWorter (1777–1854), enslaved resident of
Pulaski country, managed a saltpeter mine so effectively that
he bought freedom for himself and his family.
Rose Will Monroe or Rosie the Riveter, (1920–1997) born in
Pulaski County and moved to Michigan during World War II,
where she helped build B-24s and B-29s for the war effort.

Sherrod Williams (1804–1876) was a U.S. Representative from
Kentucky. Williams was elected as an Anti-Jacksonian Whig to
the Twenty-fourth, Twenty-fifth, and Twenty-sixth Congresses
(March 4, 1835-March 3, 1841). He served as chairman of the
Committee on Invalid Pensions (Twenty-sixth Congress).
