THE BLOKEFEAST CLUB:
What a better way to turn an otherwise romantic Valentine's breakfast into a Malentine's Day feast of epic proportion!
YOU WILL NEED:
. BACON
. SAUSAGES
. EGGS
. HASH BROWNS
. TOMATOES, ONION ETC.
. PANCAKE/WAFFLE BATTER
. WAFFLE IRON/FRYING PAN
. MAPLE SYRUP
. DRINKS (non alcoholic)
. BBQ
. SAUCE, MUSTARD (etc.)
The amount of food to buy will depend on how many mates you invite over (and how much they can eat). This may get expensive, so you may want to suggest that each person brings an item each.
SUGGESTED MEALS:
. Regular pancakes/waffles
. Bacon pancakes/waffles
. Big Brekky (+ toast & beans)
. Toad in a hole (+ toast)
. B&E Burger (+ buns)
. Omlette (+ milk & cheese)
. Breakfast burrito (+ tortillas)
SLIDEAGEDDON:
The humble slip and slide from your childhood has finally become a man....
YOU WILL NEED:
. TARPS ( min 10mx20m for 4 people)
. DISHWASHING LIQUID
(more litres = max fun)
. WATER
(from hose or buckets)
. BEER
(cans or cups only)
. A LONG HILL/DECLINE
(for sliding down)
. MIN. 4 PEOPLE
STEPS:
1. Set up & secure tarp
2. Line up beer on the outer edges of halfway point (away from tarp)
3. Add liquid and water to tarp
HOW TO PLAY:
Pair up with a mate & choose who will be the head or tail (head slides from the starting line, tail starts at mid-way point).
When the head reaches the midway point, the tail must try and grab on. The pair must slide to the end without coming apart.
The team who both scull a beer at the finishing line, wins the race!
PINT & SEEK:
This idea takes a childhood game and combines it with an adult pastime that is guaranteed to be a crowd pleaser!
YOU WILL NEED:
. A GROUP OF MATES (min 4)
. MONEY (for ordering pints)
. MOBILES
STEPS:
1. Find an area in town that has a few pubs & clubs near/next to each other
2. Pick a 'home base' eg: a place that everyone can meet at
3. Set rules & location boundaries
HOW TO PLAY:
Once your mates have arrived at the 'home base', elect someone to be the 'seeker' for the first round. The 'seeker' will then count to 300 seconds (5 minutes).
While the seeker is counting at home base, everyone else will go and hide amongst the various pubs/clubs in the designated area.
The seeker must then attempt to find everyone.
If the seeker catches you, you must buy them a pint - but if they do not catch you, they must buy you a pint.
This game will get harder and funnier the more rounds that you play (and the drunker you get).
I.R.S. Australia does not condone nor encourage drink-driving. Enjoy Valentine's Day, or any other celebration, with your mates but be responsible. Who's the designated driver?
