Withdrawal Procedures If a student is withdrawing from Smitha Middle School, the enrolling adult must contact the front office Pupil Personnel Clerk to begin the withdrawal process. The front office Pupil Personnel Clerk will handle the withdrawal process, which may take up to 24 hours to complete. If the student is enrolling in a school outside of Cobb County School District, the school-issued laptop, charger, and bag must be returned to the front office. If the student is enrolling within the District, then the student will keep the schoolissued laptop, charger, and bag. Regardless of the location of the new school, all books must be returned at the time of withdrawal. All student records will be provided to the new school upon written request from that school. Transcripts or record requests must be made in writing and received by the counselor at least one week prior to the mailing.
