Food Dish for Instant Happiness

There’s something about eating that tends to put a smile on most people’s
faces. From the flavors, to the appearance of the food, and simply the
company you’re sharing a meal with, it’s fair to say eating brings joy to the
table. However, there are foods that not only taste, look and smell great,
but also make you feel great. And that is a recipe for true instant happiness.
For starters, fruits and vegetables are key elements to a healthy, happy
you. It’s easy to get bored with the “apple a day” routine, but it’s even
easier to get your fruits and veggies in, in a fun way. Sweet potato fries
are easy to prepare and offer an instant boost of cheerfulness—as a healthy carbohydrate, a sweet potatoes structure increases the
chemical in our brains which is involved in keeping us happy. Not to mention, sweet potatoes are filled with vitamin A and antioxidants
which promote your overall well-being.
Slice the potatoes lengthwise and toss them in a plastic bag with a splash or two of olive oil. The fun part is that you can add seasonings of
your choice. For a spicy kick, try chili powder with cumin. If it’s a sweeter version you’re going for, cinnamon and nutmeg go a long way.
Toss the bag and spread out on a cookie sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes, until cooked to your liking. After that first
bite, you’ll be smiling.
