NEW BRAND GUIDELINES

orporate has released the new Brand Guidelines.

They can be downloaded from the BMS here.

The SMEC brand is a valuable company asset.

The best way to build and protect SMEC’s brand is to follow SMEC’s Brand Guidelines.

What you need to know:

1. Logo

The new SMEC logo includes the ‘Local People. Global Experience.’ tagline

Logo MUSTS:

The logo MUST always be on a white background. It cannot be placed on a dark background or superimposed over an image.

The full colour version of the logo must be used wherever possible.

The logo must always be in the top left-hand corner of covers.

The logo must not be manipulated, stretched or distorted.

Click on the logo on the right hand page to be taken to the new logo. It is both on the BMS and on the Central Marketing Site under Logos.

2. Fonts

Calibri should be used in Word, PowerPoint and Excel documents.

Arial may be substituted if Calibri is unavailable

Other fonts may be used where specifically requested by a client such as RMS.

In Central, we tend to use Arial as RMS is our biggest client and they have specifically asked for our documents to be in Arial. This includes all proposals and CVs.

Recommended font size for reports, letters, etc. is 11 point.

The smallest font size to be used is 10 point.

3. Colour

The colours in the SMEC logo are the only colours that should be used in design.

These colours are:

Orange

Yellow

Green

Light Green

Grey

Colours should be used selectively. SMEC documents should use grey and orange as primary colours. Greens and yellow can be used where additional colours are required.

New Templates

Via the BMS all new templates are available.

Follow the steps - Home Page | BD & Marketing | Templates

There are numerous Zip folders that contain the templates you require.
