Get Snapping - Photo Competition

Back in April SMEC Canberra held a Photo Competition, “Get Snapping”. The aim of the competition was for the office to gain a selection of iconic photos of Canberra that they can use in marketing material and capability statements.
The conditions of entry were that all photos must be taken by a Canberra staff member along with permission for them to display and use in any marketing material.
Thusitha Gangodagamage took out first prize (and second and third!) with the above 3 photos. Congratulations Thusitha!
Sydney's Battle of the Functions!
If you read the last edition of MM, it mentioned SMEC's culture being seen as a little bit, well ... dull. In order to have a little fun booster and celebrate the EOFY, SMEC Sydney held an informal event, Battle of the Functions. The victorious team was a combination of environment and water team members as well as Jowenn Lua from CAD. Well done guys! The night was a lot of fun - even though a little chilly!
