History Facts of Litchfield High School �
The art room used to be a dirt floor area for kids to play in when the building was built.
� It then became the gym.
The Harlem Globetrotters played in that gym! How cool is that!
� It later became the art room.
Mrs. Varah says that her art room is the best art room in the whole state.
Litchfield School Ag and FFA Program receive Working Here Fund Grant

Through our Working Here Fund, Farm Credit Services of America has set aside grant funds for projects and organizations that make a positive impact in Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota or Wyoming. Grant funds can range up to $ 2000.00. There are two options of funding available through our Working Here Fund. Both funding options are designed to impact Agriculture Education, Young and Beginning Producers, Hunger and Nutrition and Essential Services / Disaster Relief needs.
Litchfield Public School Ag Department and FFA recently received a $ 2000.00 grant to be used in the Precision Ag class and other ag related school events that support the goals of the Working Here Fund Grant.
