FBLA turns pop-tabs into charitable donation
FBLA donates tabs to Ronald McDonald House
How much does the everyday pop tab mean to you? What may seem like a useless single pop tab to you
means dollars for the Ronald McDonald House. FBLA recently donated 70 pounds of pop tabs, equivalent to
105,000 tabs, to the Ronald McDonald House. The Ronald
McDonald House and families that stay there benefit from
donations of pop tabs by recycling them for cash. Last year
they got enough donations to pay for electricity for
everyone that stayed there for the entire year. The Ronald
McDonald House is a nonprofit organization to provide
housing, recreation, meals, and supplies for families
needing medical care with area facilities. The goal of the
Ronald McDonald House charity is to strengthen children
and families during their most difficult and challenging
times. If you would like to support this charity you can
collect pop tabs for the local FBLA Chapter or visit this
website https://www.rmhcomaha.org/ to learn more about
other ways to donate.
