Agri-business students tour KAPPA Plant
The agribusiness students toured the KAPPA Eth-
anol Plant on Thursday December 13 th . The four
students, Christopher Paitz, Tyler Shukei, John
Zimmer, and Kaleb Rosentreater got to see the
operations in action and visit with plant manager,
Mitch Feldman. Students walked the grounds
with Mr. Feldman and witnessed the many differ-
ent duties it takes to keep the plant operating.
The students visited with Mr. Feldman about the
setup, improvements, and overall management
and operations of the plant on a day-to-day ba-
sis. Mr. Feldman made many correlations be-
tween the agribusiness course content by how it
applies to his daily duties and management func-
tions. The students had very positive comments
about the field trip and admitted it open their
eyes to many opportunities for them in the fu-
ture right here at home.
