FFA NEWS
On December 9 th , the Litchfield FFA participated in the District 8 Leadership Development Event. Students receiving white rib-
bons were Brandi Slocum and Pacen Trent in Creed Speaking. Red ribbon winners were Gavin Cole in Junior Public Speaking,
Nathan Wardyn in Extemporaneous Speaking and Tyler Schukei in Senior Public Speaking. The Ag Demonstration team con-
sisting of Kayden Lucas, Rebecca Mostek and Sydnee Sweley earned a blue ribbon. Two junior high teams also participated in
the Ag Quiz Bowl. The 8 th grade team placed third out of 22 teams and will be competing in the State Quiz Bowl competition
during the state convention in April. The 8 th grades are Ashton Behmerwohld, Jacob Heapy, Lyndsie McAuliff and Hunter Swe-
ley.
