Veterans Program
On November 11th, 2019 the annual veterans pro-
gram was at the Litchfield High School at 10:30am. As always the Color Guard
Flag presentation was held by the Veterans. During the presentation of the Color
Guard the Preschoolers sang the Pledge of Allegiance followed by the the Jr/Sr.
high band with the playing of the Star Spangled Banner. All the classes sang vari-
ous patriotic songs and the 7-12 bank played throughout the program. Kyle Betke,
Litchfield Senior Student, read his Voice of Democracy Essay he wrote in his His-
tory class. The 3-4 grade demonstrated their patriotism by having a Flag Folding
Ceremony. At the end of the ceremony the students folding the flags found Veter-
ans in the stands and gave them a folded flag that was used during the ceremony.
