One Act The Litchfield One Act team is once again in action this year. The sponsors in one act are Mr. Hiebner, the music teacher, and Mrs. Slocum, the science teacher. One act has been very busy with practice and having performances. They just had their first performance November 12th in Ord. The play consists of 3 different fairy tales. The first part is “”Rumpelstiltskin”, the second story is “Rapunzel” and the last tory is “Red Rid- ing Hood”. They are ready for more performances and excited to be in one act. -Rilee Howard The only way to be successful in such a large project that benefits so many is through the cooperation and teamwork of school and community. The food drive was successful because of the generous donations of community members and students. Thank you to everyone who helped make this a success. Lynette Finley, FBLA Sponsor 12 hours of community service FBLA’s Successful Food Drive The Litchfield FBLA organized a community food drive October 31.Ten students that are in FBLA spent several hours going house to house to collect cans. FBLA received 133 cans during the can drive. The cans will be going to Central Nebraska community Action Partnership in Loup City. They distribute food for people who need it in Sherman country. We thank everyone who donated cans for the can drive. We hope it goes just as great next year with all of your kind donations. The can collection is one of 9 activities the FBLA members need to complete for the Go Green Ribbon at the State Competition in the spring. -Rilee Howard
