One Act
The Litchfield One Act team is once again in action this year. The sponsors in
one act are Mr. Hiebner, the music teacher, and Mrs. Slocum, the science teacher. One
act has been very busy with practice and having performances. They just had their first
performance November 12th in Ord. The play consists of 3 different fairy tales. The first
part is “”Rumpelstiltskin”, the second story is “Rapunzel” and the last tory is “Red Rid-
ing Hood”. They are ready for more performances and excited to be in one act.

The only way to be successful in such a large project that benefits so many is through
the cooperation and teamwork of school and community. The food drive was
successful because of the generous donations of community members and
students. Thank you to everyone who helped make this a success.

FBLA’s Successful Food Drive
The Litchfield FBLA organized a community food drive October 31.Ten students that are in FBLA
spent several hours going house to house to collect cans. FBLA received 133 cans during the can
drive. The cans will be going to Central Nebraska community Action Partnership in Loup City. They
distribute food for people who need it in Sherman country. We thank everyone who donated cans
for the can drive. We hope it goes just as great
next year with all of your kind donations. The can
collection is one of 9 activities the FBLA members
need to complete for the Go Green Ribbon at the
State Competition in the spring.
