Marie Sweley made a motion to increase lunch prices by 5 cents if it is required by the federal government if not the current prices would stay the same. Second by Bill Howard. Motion carried 6-0. Wade would do some further looking into this mat- ter. Due to thee unfortunate accident that the Centura School went through it was sug- gested that we review our memorial policy so that was discussed and looked over. On the Buildings and Grounds Wade mentioned the paint of the brick building and the new handrails, replacing of the sidewalk, the gym floor being screened and re- finished, Tri State Paving putting a bid to fix the potholes in the crosswalk. It was decided to go look it over and it was discussed to hold on until next year and look into a surveyor and have the project done right and the whole thing not one sec- tion., and the weight room update has been determined by a plumber that a bath- room could be put in the weight room. Dates to remember were discussed as first day of school, teacher in service days, days Wade would be gone and day Wade and Matt would be gone. Jim Holm made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:16 p.m. Second by Bill How- ard. Motion carried6-0. The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Education will be at 7:30 p.m. on August 20, 2018. The agenda is a continuous agenda and is available for examination during regular hours at the office of th e Superintendent.
