April Gross made a motion to increase the substitute Teacher Pay by $5 to make it $115/day. Second by Jim Holm: Motion carried 5-0. Building and Grounds consisted of discussing the starting of the road project being pushed back due to the weather and Todd Wardyn being laid up but will start this week. Superintendent Evaluation will be tabled till next meeting so all evaluations can be handed in and reviewed by President Mitch Feldman. Jim Holm made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 8:47 p.m. Second by Marie Sweley. Motion carried 5-0. The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Education will be at 7:30 p.m. on July 15, 2019. The agenda is a continuous agenda and is available for examination during regular hours at the office of the Superintendent. Marie Sweley Board Secretary LITCHFIELD PUBLIC SCHOOLS BOARD OF EDUCATION REGULAR MEETING July 15, 2019 President Mitch Feldman called the regular meeting to order at 7:31 p.m. Members Present: Mitch Feld- man, Marie Sweley, April Gross, and Steve Heapy. Visitors: None President Mitch Feldman announced and informed the public that a current copy of the Open Meetings Law is posted on the wall of the meeting room, and also indicated the instructions for those who wish to speak during the public forum. The minutes of the last meeting were read. Steve Heapy made a motion to approve the minutes from the last meeting. Second by April Gross. Motion carried 4-0. Steve Heapy made the motion to count Jim Holm and Bill Howard as absent and excused. Second by Ma- rie Sweley. Motion carried 4-0. The treasurer reported a balance of $1,402,095.13 in the district treasury. Payroll and claims in the amount of $211,656.24 were presented for payment. April Gross made a motion to pay the claims. Sec- ond by Steve Heapy. Motion carried 4-0. Matt Drew stated that there was no Principal report as July is pretty slow. Wade Finley reported on NASB Policies updates due to State Legislation, Direct Deposit, building and grounds, and dates to remember.
