New Teacher News By: RaNay Casper Full Name: Brian Johnson (Agriculture, Industrial Arts, FFA Sponsor, 9th Grade Sponsor) Where did you grow up: Eddyville Where did you go to college: Chadron State College and then transferred to University of Nebraska at Lincoln Personal background: Single, married, children: Single father of two boys. Nolan is in 8th grade and Justin is in 6th grade. They go to school in Broken Bow Hobbies: Yardwork & Landscaping, Home improvement, Camping and Fishing Nicknames: Charlie Animals: 2 Rabbits What do you like to do on your spare time? Road trips Where have you taught before? This is my first teaching job. Previously I worked in the Agricultural Industry and also in Law Enforcement Have you taught other grades before? No What inspired you to become a teacher? My mom was a teacher and I had a lot of great teachers in school that were a positive influence in my life. Quote? Procrastination is the art of keeping up with yesterday. What is your experience at Litchfield school so far? What made you want a small town school? I love teaching in a small school. I went to school at SEM and it isn’t much bigger than Litchfield. I enjoyed the small school setting and am happy about being a part of that again. The staff and teachers here at Litchfield have been great to work with and I look forward to the many activities yet to happen this school year!
