COVER STORY Patricia Vice – Texas Security Shredding Staying in the Pink through Carefully Created Harmonious Relationships P atricia Vice is such a likeable person. From the moment you meet her and experience her radiant smile, you can’t help but feel her warmth, sincerity, and caring nature exuding from the inside out. In addition, Patricia is so passionate about giving back to the Susan G. Komen® Organization that she started a program with them called the “Shred for Komen Project”. Patricia’s personal dedication to saving lives and ending breast cancer forever has inadvertently helped her business, Texas Security Shredding, stay in the pink. As the old saying goes, “What goes around comes around” so it is no wonder that Patricia has been so successful in creating harmonious relationships whether it involves family, community, or business. Growing up in Boise, Idaho, Patricia was the second oldest of the four children in her family. She never developed “middle child” syndrome due to the harmonious relationship with her family and was often seen as the “peacemaker”. Loving music from a young age, Patricia was always attuned with lyrical orchestrations. Later, Patricia successfully transformed her scrupulous ear for perfect pitch into being finely attuned to clients’ needs, skillful in harmonious business orchestrations, and in touch with the heartbeat of community and charitable organizations. Patricia’s father was a supervisor for an Idaho power company and her mother worked hard in caring for the family. Leaving home to attend Boise State University, Patricia first majored in music but soon realized that she couldn’t make a living in that field. After
