Downtown Arlington is home to hundreds of businesses serving the needs of area citizens and employees. With a concentration in government, banking, technology, automotive and office uses, the Downtown / University area is ripe for restaurants and retail uses to complement the mix. Businesses interested in a downtown Arlington and existing businesses already located downtown may request detailed information about programs and projects currently underway.
Programs offered by the DAMC to businesses located in Downtown Arlington:
• Façade Improvement Grant- Improvements such as( but not exclusively limited to) building façade enhancements, awnings, painting, landscape elements, signage, accessibility improvements, public art, murals and decorative lighting are eligible for reimbursement subject to approval by the DAMC for businesses located in Downtown Arlington.
• The Sponsorship Program is available to businesses that operate within the Downtown Arlington area for events, activities and programs.
