Produced as a collaboration between UTA & TechFW, EpICMavs is a free entrepreneurship program. Each week features a guest speaker on an entrepreneurship-related topic and includes a discussion session where students, faculty, staff and members of the community further explore the topic and get to know each other. Recent topics have included marketing, branding, goal setting, pitching to investors and building your trusted network. Attendance at EpIC- Mavs is free and open to students, faculty, staff and members of our community.
Traditionally held in the StartUp Lounge, EpICMavs was held virtually via Microsoft Teams throughout the 2020- 2021 academic year. Beginning in Fall 2021, EpICMavs plans to convene in the space currently under construction for UTA’ s new Center for Entrepreneurship & Economic Innovation at the corner of UTA Blvd & Center St. Stay posted on our progress at the CEEI website.
