Editorial
The months of September and October were eventful, to say the least. September
saw SLS hosting eminent personalities in the eld of education like Dr. H. L. Trivedi, Mr
Mansukh Salla, Prof Anjana Vyas and Shri Saumya Joshi for Teachers Day.
The convocation for the batch of SLS ‘13 students brought the likes of Honorable Chief
Minister of Gujarat, Vijay Rupani and Chairman and MD of Reliance Industries, and
President of PDPU, Mukesh Ambani to the university.
Several department workshops were arranged over the span of these 2 months,
ranging from GST and Mental Health to R software and Economics! On the sports front,
POTC (PDPU Open Tennis Championship) saw the wonderful performance of SLSites
along with students from other schools.
The months of September and October were extraordinary in terms of the number of
opportunities that were presented to the students, in terms of academic, as well s non
- academic activities.
