PDPU Open Tennis Championship PDPU OPEN TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP, MEN'S SINGLES ROAD TO FINAL- The PDPU open tennis championship 2017 men's singles nal concluded on the 31st of October after 6 days of intense tennis competition. The game saw the participation of players from all over the country. Out of which two players made it to the nal. The trophy was lifted by Jaydeep Chudasama. The journey to nal started with Jaydeep winning the rst round without giving away a single game to his opponent with the score of 6-0. This made him reach the second round and once again defeat his opponent by 6-0. The 3rd round's score was 6-4. Quarter nal 9-1. Semi-nal was an arduous competition where both the players hailed from a good position in the ranking table. But Jaydeep sailed through the semis with a score of 6-1 in the rst set and 6-2 in the second as the format changed to best of 3 set. The men's singles round saw the breath-taking nal slam on 31st October 2017 at 4:00 pm. Both the players took proud in being the two best players from the league. The match went on for a long three hours. The rst set ended with the score of 5-7 after which making a comeback he defeated his opponent by a score of 7-5 in the second set, and then Jaydeep climaxed the match with a sparkling score of 6-3 which made him the 3rd men's singles player to win the PDPU Open Tennis Championship title. PDPU OPEN TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP, MEN'S DOUBLES ROAD TO FINAL- The PDPU open tennis championship 2017 men's doubles nal concluded on the 31st of October after 6 days of intense tennis competition. The game saw the participation of players from all over the country. Out of which two teams made it to the nal. The trophy was lifted by Niklesh Kanojia and Pagalavan d by a very close margin. The journey to nal started with the winning team getting a bye in the rst round and winning the second round by 7-3. This made them reach the quarter nal and defeat their opponents by 9-5. Semi-nal was an arduous competition where all the four players hailed from the Indian navy's team. Niklesh and Pagalavan took the game to the tie breaker round and won 10-6. The men's doubles round saw the breath-taking nal slam on 31st October 2017 at 9:00 am. Both the teams took proud in being the two best teams from the league. The match went on for 2 complete hours. The winning team ended the match with the score of 7-5 in the rst set and 6-4 in the second, which made them the 3rd doubles team to win the PDPU Open Tennis Championship title. 17
