July was a fresh start for freshers and an experienced start for the sophomores! The
month of July made a mark on the history of Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University
with Dr. Nigam Dave being awarded with Colonel rank by NCC for executing a
compulsory NCC exposure course for 1st year students. The zealous start set the
standard for rest of the months for more accolades and appreciation. With new
aspirations, hopes and utmost positive vibes the foundation is set for more creative
layers of bread icing and garnishing ingredients on 2017-18 cake.
Moreover, India celebrated its 71st Independence Day this August. On this day, we
feel proud again. Proud of the resistance we showed, proud of the freedom we
achieved, and proud of how much we have grown. The growth of our nation is
reected in our economic progress, military might, and our technological
advancement. We have the largest youth population in the world and hence, the
greatest potential. The kinds of activities that took place in PDPU this August reect
what can and will bring us, the youth, to reach our maximum.
Our foreign friends brought liveliness to the campus with the AIESEC cultural
showcase, and needless to mention, all of PDPU came together for the goosebump –
giving Independence Day Celebration!
