It’s rare that one gets to stay in a room designed by a legend, but the 72 guestrooms and
suites at Das Triest is the exception, offering interiors crated by none other than Sir Terence
Conran. Rooms come in a wide assortment of sizes, from Superior, which are suitable for up
to three people and offers views of a garden or the city center, to the massive Triest Suite,
which includes specially made furnishings and such delights as a dining table and side tables
by B&B Italia, a sofa by Wittmann, lounge chair tables by Minotti, and “Miss K” beside table
lamps designed by Philippe Starck. Other room options abound, but all offer inspiring design
choices made by Sir Conran himself.
