Under 10 The under 10’s had a very good season this year. They finished 7th in the league that they were in and for them to achieve this they had to ensure that they all played well as a team, but also they all had to be determined to win together. This was good as they showed team support by allowing everyone to rotate by sharing the games out this season. All the players have developed within their focus in the game and also their abilities. The following awards went to; George Watts for batting scoring 43 runs over the season; Ollie Sponsor Clarke for bowling who took 5 wickets with his best BARRY POSTON figure of 4 wickets for just 8 runs; Eddie Shore for The Under 15 Hutson Trophy; Archie Sodeau for club man of the year and finally Abigail Hannan for most improved. I hope the players have a good season next year and keep up the hard work. Kurt Colyn SPONSOR Martin Addlesee As readers will know the Under 15 sponsor Barry Poston died a few days before this Magazine went to press and a short obituary is published later in this edition. Out of respect a decision was made not to publish a team report but to record on behalf of the Players, Coaches and friends their heartfelt sympathy to his wife Jan, his family and friends.
