Overall Analysis
The TV show “ My Demon ” was released at the end of 2023 . Since then , it has been the mostwatched K-drama in 2024 . The show features Kim Yoo-Jung ( featured in 20th Century Girl , and won Best Actress ) playing Do Do-hee and Song Kang ( featured in Sweet Home and won Best Actor ) playing Jeong Gu-Won . They are set up on a blind date by Do Do-Hee ’ s adoptive mother Cheon-Sook , played by Kim Hae Sook ( featured in Yeah , That ’ s How It is , and won Best Actress ), who owns Mirae F & B . In a turn of events , the demon ’ s power or the tattoo transfers to Do Do-Hee . They try to get used to the fact that Jeong Gu-Won ’ s demonic tattoo is now on Do Do-Hee , meanwhile , Cheon-Sook passes away , and Do Do-Hee ’ s adoptive siblings try everything they can to prevent her from becoming CEO . Do Do-Hee accepts the CEO position but needs to get married within a year . Do Do-Hee , lost about Cheon- Sook ’ s passing and her CEO position , decides to have a contract marriage with her blind date who can be her bodyguard – so he can “ charge up ” his demonic powers .
Character Background
At first Jeong Gu-Won or the demon is mysterious and rude . But after spending a long time with Do Do-Hee , who is pure and sweet , his personality and character change . Jeong Gu Won caught Do Do-Hee ’ s eyes the first time they met , but she thought he was annoying . Cheon-Sook , played by Kim Hae Sook , at first represents a caring grandmother-type character . But in the end , you will understand why she is the problem . Cheon-Sook ’ s son is very complicated . He didn ’ t get the CEO position ( which was given to the adopted girl ) and never let that go . His mother was his role model but he knew of her bad decisions and her past . He needed to get rid of anyone in his way , because how do you grow with limitations ?
