Most of the Juju Bearings team have never even met one another , so what better way to break the ice and make some killer memories than to pile in a van and head up the 101 . We wanted to provide an environment to nurturesome genuine camaraderie - the type that really connects a skate team on another level .
On the unfortunate side of things , two of our guys had to sit this one out due to recent injuries . Jason Park blew his knee out filming for a new video part and ended up having surgery just days prior to the trip . Jason was superbummed that he wouldn ’ t be making the trip with us . Freddy Ernst was also on the injured list , and considered ridingalong in the van with his crutches , but ended up sitting this one out . Heal up soon , Boys .
The plan was simple : everyone meets up in Los Angeles , we pick up a van , and the team head northbound towards San Francisco and hit a few spots on the way along with our guys from the mag . The most important part about thistrip was ultimately to have fun .
