STRANGE AND FUNNY LESSON
When I was about nine or ten years old, one day, at the school, our teacher Rosa started a new lesson so we sat down and listened to her.
We were learning ‘La Rosa dels Vents’ and Rosa knew a song about it, so she started to sing it. Some minutes later we knew the song and we sang together. Then we were high spirits and I don’t remember how it happened but suddenly the teacher was singing ‘La Cucaracha’ and we started to dance. All the students in my class were on their chairs dancing and singing. The teacher was on a table too and she was also dancing and singing with us.
Later we started to dance together in a row, but suddenly the headmistress appeared, she came into the class and she seemed very angry she said something to our teacher and they left the class together.
After a while, our teacher came back and we started to study history again. We wanted to know what the headmistress had told her…, but we never knew it. Poor Rosa…
