Bolder news from the
Geneva Motor Show
At the 89th Geneva International Motor Show in early March, Subaru unveiled the
latest in the series of VIZIV concept vehicles. The Subaru VIZIV Adrenaline Concept
is the first concept vehicle to present the new “BOLDER” design philosophy, an
evolution of the “Dynamic x Solid” approach that characterizes many of the current
Subaru production vehicles.
Social Pursuits
The name VIZIV stands for “Vision for Innovation” and this latest concept is
innovative and visionary, to be sure. Looking like a futuristic, urban adventure-ready
crossover, the VIZIV Adrenaline Concept features a unique roof design that reinforces
the body structure and black protective cladding around all four corners, the front and
the back.
The colour of the bright white headlights and fog lights is echoed in the razor-sharp
wheel design. Beefy tires with gigantic tread blocks and the substantial front skid plate
indicate that this concept is a serious all-road adventure vehicle. At the back, three sets
of taillights and another skid plate prove that the VIZIV Adrenaline Concept is made
for making tracks. Overall, the design of this concept speaks to agility and toughness,
encouraging drivers to explore more.
Through the new “BOLDER” design philosophy, Subaru aims to broaden the brand
outlook, define the characteristics of Subaru vehicles more prominently, and create
more enjoyment for all passengers.
The end goal is to continue to evolve what is a distinct approach to developing and
designing vehicles that deliver on the core value of “Enjoyment and Peace of Mind.”
