Even though Subaru Rally Team Canada driver Antoine
L’Estage rarely has a spare weekend, he loves to explore
his home province of Québec when he gets the chance.
The nine-time Canadian Rally Champion is a regular
fixture in Six Star rally reports.
This summer will be special one, for sure,
because of the 150 th anniversary. If we can
make the time, we would go with our kids on
a weekend trip and take the train. The idea of
taking a train, I think, makes it more nostalgic
because trains have been here forever.
There’s a nice festival in Quebec City, the
Festival d’été de Québec. I’ve been to the
city before, but never during that period.
I know that there are a lot of things going
on, so this is something we would like to see
[Ed: This 11-day music festival takes place
downtown and this year’s performers include
Pink, Kendrick Lamar and The Who.]
This year is also the 375th anniversary
of Montreal, so there will be lots of reasons
to go to the city. The annual Jazz Festival is
very nice. You go during the day and there
are different shows and a great atmosphere
for the family. Or you can go at night and
have some adult beverages. I’ve attended
this festival maybe five or six times and,
