The 2015 Subaru BRZ Aozora Edition
(which means Blue Sky) is sure to
resonate with driving enthusiasts from
coast to coast.
Based on the Subaru BRZ Sport-tech
package, it already comes equipped
with such features as multi-reflector
halogen fog lights, keyless access,
push-button start and heated front
seats. The Aozora offers enhancements
in three different areas: aerodynamics
and exterior and interior appearance.
FIRST: THE APPEARANCE.
On the outside, the BRZ Aozora
boasts exclusive red brake calipers
and black 17-inch STI wheels. Inside,
the passenger cabin blue leather seats

with a black Alcantara insert and blue
contrast stitching on the steering
wheel, door trim and parking brake
lever. There is a driver’s kneepad on the
centre console that also features blue
contrast stitching. The red start button
is emblazoned with the STI wordmark;
a frameless rearview mirror has also
been added.
BIGGER CHANGES ARE ALSO
TAKING PLACE BACK OUTSIDE.
The Aozora features a complete STI
aerodynamic body and underbody kit.
The net effect: a reduction of the car’s
already supremely low drag coefficient
of 0.28. This development brings more
forward looks to what is already a class-

leading sport coupe in both respects.
In either Crystal White Pearl or World
Rally Blue, it’s offered exclusively with
the slick-shifting Subaru 6-speed
manual transmission. For the true
enthusiast, neither of these restrictions
will matter one bit.
