Subaru BRZ •Aozora Edition •
When the Subaru BRZ debuted in 2012, a big ripple
reverberated throughout the entire auto industry.
The company that had forged a reputation for
excellence in all-wheel drive had engineered a rearwheel drive, 2+2 sport coupe. Industry analysis, pundits
and casual bystanders were all surprised…
until they drove the BRZ, at which point they were
even more amazed. It was incredible.
The BRZ began with a clean sheet of paper. Subaru’s
engineers wanted to create a lightweight sports coupe

with perfect balance, precise handling, quick steering, a
comfortable ride and one of the lowest centres of gravity
of any production vehicle in the world.
They succeeded in every respect. But it turns out that
this was just the start of the BRZ story.

Could there be room for improvement? It turns out the
answer is, “Yes!” A forthcoming version of this worldclass sport coupe is set to appear on Canadian roads.
