Stratford Festival

Stratford Festival is an internationally
renowned theatre celebration running
annually from April to November.
Actors, playwrights and theatre
enthusiasts attend Stratford by the
thousands (over 500,000 annually).
Some of the most talented Canadian,
British, and American actors play at the
Stratford Festival each year. It was one
of the first arts festivals in Canada and is
recognized worldwide, especially for its
Shakespearean plays. This year’s playbill
includes King Lear, Crazy For You and
A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Hillside’s eclectic line-up comprises
rock, folk, indie, hip-hop, blues, jazz,
world, electronic, and reggae music.
This free spirited festival is held annually
in Guelph, Ontario at Guelph Lake and
is committed to green initiatives. Past

Toronto Jazz Festival
June 19 – 28, 2014
The annual TD Toronto Jazz Festival is
recognized as one of North America’s
best jazz festivals, produced by Toronto
Downtown Jazz. Since its early days
in the late 80s, beginning as a jazz
showcase, the 10 day festival has
grown to attract more than 500,000
people each year. Fifteen hundred
musicians perform at approximately
40 locations around Toronto for more
than 350 performances. Last year’s
festival featured Willie Nelson, Smokey
Robinson, Nikki Yanofsky and Steve
Martin on the Banjo.
