1922: Lincoln memorial dedicated by President Harding. William Desmond Taylor, beloved actor and director, is murdered.

1923: Time magazine hits newstands for the very first time. President Warren G. Harding Dies of a heart attack in August and is replaced by Vice President Calvin Coolidge. -President Harding was in office for three years before his unexpected death.
1920: Prohibition takes effect and the outrage and speakeasies begin right along with it. Women gain the right to vote with the 19th Amendment.

1921: Tomb of the unknown is dedicated in the Arlington National Cemetary. The very first radio broadcasts were given and heard as far away as Aukland.

1927: Charles Lindbergh, an American aviator, went on his first solo flight across the Atlantic Ocean.

1928: The Winter Olympics occured this year in beautiful and chilly St.Moritz, located in the Swiss Alps.With the top medalist coming from Finland, and Norway.

1929: The stock market crashed, this caused widespread panic. Especially when two million dollars just happened to vanish quckly. In total twenty-five million dollars in total were lost.
