“Eating in Hawker Center
might help you tighten
the budget of dining
expenses throughout
your vacation in
Singapore.”

HALAL
This is a favorite dining place that serves local
and international dishes, such as Indian, Korean,
Japanese, Vietnamese, and the like. This 24 hours
Hawker Center has distinct architectural features
compared to other Hawker Centers. The building
has a colonial design that is extravagant. Located
at Central Business District, this hawker center is
strategically located. You can visit Satay Street in
Lau Pa Sat, where they close up the street and
give out space for tables. You can taste a variety
of delicious satay here! The most interesting
feat at this Hawker Center is the separate dish
washing station between the halal and non-halal
food. You don’t need to worry about picking apart
between halal and non-halal food stalls here, the
difference is quite distinguishable. Usually there is
a sign of ‘Halal’ in front of outlets selling halal food.
The dishwasher is also separated between halal
and non-halal food outlets. There are many halal
foods here, one of which is Turkish Cuisine which
sells various kebabs, Big Bites Indian Vegetarian
Cuisine that sells Indian food, Yong Tau Foo Jason
that sells fish meatballs, crab sticks, tofu and
dumpling, and Delicius Pastisseri which highlights
the matcha (green tea) cheesecake from Japan.
