such as elevated blood pressure,
gerd, recurrent sleep apnea and
extreme headaches. He became
convicted after preaching on
six areas of ministry including:
Family, Finances, Feelings,
Future, Faith and Physical body
each of which, will be done
in 30 day increments and he’s
asked his followers to hold him
accountable.
He states, “To excel in one area
and fail in other areas does not
necessarily make me a complete
success when it comes to the
things of God.”
SE: What would you tell the
men of your church that you
believe would encourage and
motivate them to also take
charge of their health?
Pastor Kedrick: I think one thing
that has been a motivation for
me is my daughter. She’s only
2 and I’m in my mid 40’s. At
the rate I was going there was a
strong possibility that I would
not see her graduate and go to
college or be able to walk her
down the aisle. There is a part
that God does but there is also
a part that we have to do as
well. I have decided to do my
part so that I can be in the right
standards of God.
