Variable elements:
1
“Transparent Layer”
On panorama ads with a fold, the
“
Transparent Layer” must not go over
the gutter. The width is therefore fixed
and the spacing to the gutter is 10?mm.
For panorama ads without a fold, the
“Transparent Layer” width is variable.
The minimum width is 152?mm and the
maximum width is 408?mm (12?mm to
the left format margin).
The height of the ”Big Bar” of the “Transparent Layer” depends on the amount of
headline and subhead copy. A guide
frame in the template makes it easier to
set it to the right height.
The headline and subhead cannot have
more than two lines each.
See chapter
“Design elements”,
Layer heights, page 28
2
White space
The height of the white space depends
on the amount of body copy. The body
copy goes in two columns. An additional margin column may be added at
the side of the page.
Two-column: 84?mm each
Three-column including margin
column: Two 60?mm body copy
c
olumns and a 44?mm margin column
When a variable “Transparent Layer” is
used, the body copy is single-column
and either aligned along the logo?/?layer
form or placed on the “Transparent
Layer” in alignment with the text
blocks.
Special case?/?Single-column: 188?mm
Font sizes are variable.
