It is a common breeding res-
ident in India. It nests in trees and
breeds from March to October in
North India. They walk and like
other tactile feeding ibises, probe in
the soft ground. It is not as aquatic
as many other species of ibis. The
rarely wade in water. These ibis are
bigger than glossy ibis but when
seems far away they look like equal
and one type ibis.
