Konkurs Polski powraca do programu Festiwalu. W tym roku patrzymy szeroko i przekraczamy granice, ale zaglądamy również na własne podwórko. Tu dużo się dzieje, rośnie nowe pokolenie reżyserek i reżyserów, których filmy warto pokazać i docenić, bo ich tematyka jest różnorodna, a forma często oryginalna i nieszablonowa. Kino artystyczne przeplata się z gatunkowym, a obok ważnych tematów społecznych pojawia się miejsce na komizm i eksperyment. Filmy w konkursie dzieli wiele, ale bez wątpienia łączą je trzy cechy: są krótkie, dobre i polskie.
Polish Competition is back in the Festival program. This edition we look widely and cross the boundaries but we also remember about our own backyard. There is a lot going on, a new generation of directors is growing, whose films are worth to show and appreciate because of valuable and unconventional themes. Arthouse interwinds with genre cinema and besides important social themes there is also a place for comedy and experiment. Films selected to the Competition divide a lot but with no doubt they are connected by three characteristics: they are short, good and Polish.
