I nterviewer: So my man, tell me about this music journey when did it start and how did it start?
Mpeshnyk: Started my journey from a very early age in schools I used to attend. Learned how to play piano, flute, and singing at school choirs from primary school till high school.
Interviewer: Mpeshnyk, let’ s talk about your set my man, what kind of music makes up your set?
Mpeshnyk: I love putting together a lot of material out there that ' s from whatever part of the world locally or internationally. But in essence, most of my sets start of really deep and drifts off into regular house. Or they might just drift off to really deep. So it really doesn ' t matter. I might randomly start off with eg. jazz or lounge music just to experiment where the set would take flight, into deep then regular house.
Interviewer: Any future or planned musical projects Mpeshnyk is involved with, like what do you hope the future holds for the brand Mpeshnyk?
Mpeshnyk: Not one to say much about future plans, but all I can say is expect a lot more between now and the future to come.
Interviewer: Career highlights my man, what have been your Career highlights so far?
Mpeshnyk: Career highlights thus far really have been given the opportunity to put together my first solo album. Never thought that time would come but it has and will give this project my all.
Interviewer: Last words for the young ones ma man looking at music as a career?
Mpeshnyk: Stay true to yourself, believe in yourself, and never substitute respect for attention.
