Lady Blue and where
are you from?
Lady Blue: Lady Blue is
an upcoming female dj
who plays souful and
jazzysoul house and loves music with all her
heart, well I was born and raised in Soweto
Meadowlands Zone 2 and Zone 4.
Interviewer: Lady Blue, when did you
notice that you had love for House Music
and what sparked that love for House
Music? “Any musical influences” that
might have played a part in your journey?
Lady Blue: It was in year 2000 while I was
still playing soccer just loved music so much,
the combination of instruments, Kanny G and
R Kelly they the people that maid me release
that music is great and where words fail
music can fill the space.
Interviewer: How does Lady Blue sets herself
apart from the next Deejay/Producers?
Lady Blue: Oh well I believe that all deejays
have their own special taste in music and mixing
and I believe that if we were all given about four
tracks that are the same we would mix them
differently due to that individual “musical taste”
we have. One more thing im a female dj that
likes jazzy instruments most of the time.
Interviewer: Any future or planned musical
projects Lady Blue is involved with, like what
do hope the future holds for the brand Lady
Blue?
Lady Blue: I am working on some tracks of my
own hopefully some of them will be reliesed
soon, oh well and I hope the name LadyBlue
gets well known and would like to work with
more female deejays that are unknown and
hopefully one day play in some huge venue in
Miami and represent all female deejays.
Interviewer: Who is Dj
Thotho and where are
you from? Interviewer: Where did it all start (deejaying)
and for how long have you been spinning
decks?
Dj Thotho: Dj Thotho is a
female deejay bro and bred
in Mthatha but in Durban Dj Thotho: It al stated last year April in
Durban. Yes, I have been in the game for a year
and few months, but you would never say so. I
was approached by Dj Clyd from Clyd‟tainment
as he saw the love and passion I had for music
and that is where it all began.

Interviewer: Growing up, what kind of up-
bringing Dj Thotho had?
Dj Thotho: I was raised in a strict family, they
hare still taking things easy. I believe a child
should pursue what is in his/her heart and not
be forced to do something they don‟t like. My
upbringing was focused on just that.
Interviewer: . Love of music and love for
deejying in particular, what sparked the
love for that Thotho?
Dj Thotho: Haha...My love for music started
like 8 years back. Through my love for music,
I decided to be a deejay.
Interviewer: What have been your Career
highlights so far and where and how can we
get hold of Dj Thotho and her projects?
Dj Thotho: Eish, There is a lot that still need to
be done such as building myself as a brand. I am
proud of what I have archived within the short
period I have been spinning decks. My career
highlights so far would include sharing decks
with the established deejays and basically get-
ting tips from them One can get hold of my pro-
jects and gigs as I am active in al social media
platforms.
