Ms Eve : I was at a critical stage in my development as a musician . The path to a career as a professional musician ( Dj to be specific ) was becoming clearer to me , and my passion and talent were becoming more evident . These days , it feels like a balance has been struck . There are certainly jobs within the industry that appear to have a gender lean . It ‟ s definitely not ok when people are making assumptions about your ability to do a job you work extremely hard at based on your gender .
