I nterviewer: Who is Bondeep ad where are you from?
Bondeep: Bondeep is a 21 year old female dj from Vosloorus, in the East Rand.
Interviewer: Bondeep, when did you notice that you had love for House Music and what sparked that love for House Music?“ Any musical influences that might have played a part in your journey”?
Bondeep: I started listening to music( Jazz Music to be precise) at the tender age of 7 years old. I was just a bit different from other children. My elder brother would buy house music records and I was forced to listen so I guess I was bound to love and understand music. Musical influences that have played a part in my journey are the likes of Vinny Da Vinci & and a Japanese producer named Satoshi Tommie.
I nterviewer: Who is Ms Eve and where are you from?
Ms Eve: Ms Eve“ Iviwe Mbobosi”, is a fierce house music Dj born in Paarl, one of the Cape ‟ s winelands.
Interviewer: Being a female in a male dominated scene, what challenges does this pose if any for you?
Ms Eve: I was at a critical stage in my development as a musician. The path to a career as a professional musician( Dj to be specific) was becoming clearer to me, and my passion and talent were becoming more evident. These days, it feels like a balance has been struck. There are certainly jobs within the industry that appear to have a gender lean. It ‟ s definitely not ok when people are making assumptions about your ability to do a job you work extremely hard at based on your gender.
Interviewer: We all are aware that within the music industry, competition is fierce with a lot of talented and hardworking deejays / Producers. How does Bondeep set herself apart from the next Deejay / Producer?
Bondeep: Although the music industry has fierce, I set myself apart from the next deejay by bringing new music to the masses. I do not conform to the norm. My aim is to teach people music not to play what they are familiar with. Jazz & lounge is not popular, hence I aim to teach and let people know about its existence.
Interviewer: What have been your career highlights so far?
Bondeep: My career highlights include signing under Ngema Dream Team and also being nominated as the“ Best Upcoming Female Deejay in SA”. Working as the“ SA Awards Brand Ambassador” is also a huge achievement and I ‟ m hoping more doors will open for me.

Ms Eve: As much as I am a Deep House Music fanatic when choosing my set, I choose music that will hit the soul of my audience ranging from Deep House, tribal and commercial house music. I like my set to be a soulful journey.
Interviewer: Who have you worked with so far in your musical journey?
