Intermediate School:
Dillingham Intermediate
was founded in 1997
and houses students
in the fifth and sixth
grades. The school is
named for Miss Evorie
Dillingham, the daughter
of an early pioneer
who served Texas
students for 50 years
as a principal, teacher,
and coach. Dillingham
offers several programs
in various departments
from student council to
academics, and is home
to the Trojans.
Piner Middle School:
Founded in 1953, Piner
Middle School currently
houses students in the
seventh and eighth
grades. The school
is equipped with Pre-
Advanced Placement
Programs (Pre-AP), and
various other programs
in areas from Technology
to Theatre Arts. Home to
the Wildcats, Piner also
offers a dozen different
special interest clubs
from Chess to Speech
and Debate.
Sherman High School:
F o u n d e d i n 1 9 7 0,
Sherman High School
houses students from
ninth to 12th grade. It is
the only high school in
the District, as well as the
main campus of Sherman
ISD. From Career and
Technical Education (CTE)
programs, to programs
in the Fine Arts, and
At h l e t i c s p r o g r a m s ,
Sherman High School is
an award winning high
school. The school has
several special interests
clubs from Fashion to
Astronomy and is home
to the Bearcats. Go Cats!
Perrin Learning Center:
Perrin Leaning Center
(PLC) was founded in 1959
and is a non-disciplinary
school of choice. It seeks
to provide students with
an accelerated and self-
paced learning program
to meet unique needs in
an alternative setting.
