Sue Robinson, longtime theatre manager
at Shenandoah Conservatory, retired
this September after 39 years of service.
She was honored in September with a
special ceremony and reception by her
friends and colleagues. In appreciation
of her legacy, and to honor her longtime
devotion, the box office in OhrstromBryant Theatre was renamed the Sue

Shenandoah Conservatory staff in 1975.
She supported the theatre department in
multiple ways and is especially known for
her work in marketing and coordinating
the Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre
program, which recently celebrated its
31st anniversary. “The conservatory and
the theatre division are deeply indebted
to Sue Robinson,” said Shenandoah
Conservatory Dean Michael Stepniak.
