3. It’s great that you
are an advocate of heart
health, but you’re also an
aspiring model. Can you
share more of your
journey about model
Modeling was a
childhood dream of
mine, but I was afraid to
pursue it. After having
surgery I wanted to try it.
The fear was still there.
But, through mentorship
my Mentor, Di’Mon
Brown and family/ close
friends encouraged me
to go after modeling.
I trained for a year and a half by getting my body physically fit to
enter the field. I started out walking in fashion shows in 2016.
Eventually, I worked with two companies. One is The Living
Dolls Project. Through TLDP I became the Mentor/ Model
Coordinator Assistant. The other company is KatLady
Productions where I became the Model/ Marketing Assistant.
Lastly, in March 2019, I won a Cover Model contest and became
the cover girl for a magazine called Beautiful & Dauntless.
