I’m an advocate for technology and believe it’s great as long as it works! Ha! The advance of technology has changed the voice talent game. It has allowed many new, talented voice artists to compete on national and even global level! You can record in Tennessee or Georgia and be heard on a station in the UK! This is a huge advantage!

>Not only do you run your own business but you’re also a mother. How do you find balance from day to day?

Finding balance was (and still is) huge. I honestly cannot say I’ve mastered it either….but I have improved. I am a believer that everything happens for a reason. In December 2017, I underwent an open heart surgery. This forced me to be still. That has been a difficult thing to endure while also being a huge blessing. I look at life much differently. I realize the importance of slowing down to enjoy life, rather than grinding every waking hour. I saw a quote once that sums it up “Don’t be so busy making a living that you forget to have a life”. Since my surgery, I have (and still am) focusing on recovery, stamina, and the beautiful people that surrounded me while I was in need. I have decided to adapt to life at this pace before adding more to my day to day. I am intentional about my recovery, and know that success can still be obtained once I’m completely healed and whole.

>Remaining goals for 2018?

My goals for 2018 are simple, to heal and continue to master my skill. There’s lots to do, and I do believe my future is bright!
