CDU 2024 Commencement Offers an Inspiring Moment of Sendoff to its Graduates
Charles R. Drew University presented a most exemplary sendoff to its graduates during a spritfilled 40th annual commencement ceremony. Held at El Camino College’ s Marsee Auditorium, the event was staged with professionalism class, and a reminder of the highest goals that the University aspires to instill.
We all know that Commencement Day is raucous and emotional, peppered with smug“ I told you so’ s,” blessed joy, and huge sighs of relief from both grads and parents. Introducing the degree awardees by name, and congratulations from University leaders are always accompanied by screams and shouts from an adoring audience while grads sashay past the parade of assembled dignitaries, performing every dance known to man.( I’ d delineate what steps were on display … but I’ d be dating myself).
