Dr. Regina Stokes Offodile

Dr. Regina Stokes Offodile is the newly appointed Associate Dean of Student Affairs and Admissions. She previously was Interim Department Chair of Medical Education, Division Chief of Clinical Skills and Competencies and Director of the Pamela C. Williams Center for Clinical Skills and Simulation at Meharry Medical College. Dr. Offodile was actively involved in the MMC community serving on the LCME committee, the Admissions Committee and serving as the Co-director of the Meharry / Vanderbilt IPE Collaborative. She graduated from Charles R Drew University of Medicine and Science, completed a Surgical Residency at King / Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles CA, Breast Oncology Fellowship at Stanford University and a Preventive Medicine Residency at Meharry Medical College. As a result of her interest and dedication to medial education she has obtained Masters in Health Professions Education and a Masters in Management of Healthcare from Vanderbilt University. She has been certified as a Healthcare Simulation Educator with the Society of Simulation in Healthcare. She is an advocate for unmatched medical students. She has continued to support the MedFellows program for unmatched Meharry students. This program has a successful match rate of 90 % after completing the program.

She is the mother of three sons, including a 22 year-old senior at Miami University of Ohio, and a 19 year old freshman at Howard University. She also has two fur babies, Cookie, a Jack Russell, and Co-Co, an Aussie Doodle.
