In September 2023, AJC Miami and Broward secured a grant from Broward County to launch a localized plan to combat antisemitism, which leveraged actions and recommendations from the U. S. National Strategy to Counter Antisemitism to:
1. Host the County’ s First-Ever Summit to Combat Antisemitism
At the Broward County Summit to Combat Antisemitism, AJC gathered national and local leaders who are committed to addressing, combating, and preventing antisemitism.
2. Increase Public Awareness of Antisemitism
The campaign reached millions of Floridians via targeted digital banner, radio, and circular print ads; physical billboards; social media marketing; and partnerships with 37 libraries.
3. Build Strategic Alliances Within the Community
AJC Miami and Broward led antisemitism trainings and educational workshops for business and nonprofit leaders, law enforcement and elected officials, college and high school employees, and parents of Jewish students.

The Dallas / Fort Worth Muslim-Jewish Advisory Council, convened by AJC Dallas, continued the annual tradition of an Iftar dinner, the fast-breaking meal during Ramadan. The 2024 event was held at the George W. Bush Presidential Center.
AJC LOS ANGELES
To better understand the histories of anti-Asian and anti- Jewish persecution, AJC Los Angeles co-sponsored a mission to Manzanar, the World War II incarceration camp north of Los Angeles. The delegation of Japanese American and Jewish American leaders shared their experiences overcoming government-sponsored persecution and the loss of societal rights. The mission was an exercise in allyship, coming at a particularly precarious time for the Jewish community.
