Chipotle Tweaks Cooking Methods after E. coli outbreak

Chipotle, the fast food restaurant has had outbreak cases of E-coli that have almost affected more than 50 people. It started in California and Minnesota but severe cases took place in Washington and Oregon. Due to this outbreak, the restaurant has to change up their cooking processes. For example, they are now dipping onions in boiled water to kill germs and the raw chicken is marinated and etc. In recent years, this restaurant has been doing extremely and they expanded their business to many locations. Unfortunately because of this E-coli case, the success of Chipotle has gone downhill and they have shut down 43 restaurants within Oregon and Washington. They have now brought in cheese that is shredded and onions are macerated
with lemon or lime juice to kill any germs. The Chief executives are now doing their best to bring in sanitary ingredients to their restaurant and want to provide safe and sanitary foods for their customers.
