Man is the cause of one of the main threats to the animal as it causes deforestation that destroys the habitat of the future of the species. The characteristic coat, its size and its appearance make the tiger a majestic animal, unfortunately it is still subject to poaching which has almost decreed its extinction.

Fortunately, there are hopes as the population of the big cat has returned to growth in recent years. The tiger is a strong and fast animal, but in the face of the guns and the traps of the poachers they are powerless.

All five of the world’s diverse species of rhinoceros have been brought to the edge of extinction because of human appetite for their distinctive horns. The horns have been prized for centuries for their beautiful translucent color when carved, and their supposed healing properties. In fact Traditional Chinese Medicine thinks that Rhyno’s horns can heal cancer and it is also used to treat fever, rheumatism, gout, and other strange things like the ‘devil possession’, but we know that it is composed by keratin, which is the same substance that our nails and hair are made of. So this belief has no scientific truth.
