Daniela: “What will you take with you from New York forever?”
Aldo: “New York teaches you a way of life totally different from Italian culture; you breathe a sense of union and it is an incredibly cosmopolitan city.
I was very impressed by the availability of all the people who work in the shops or other public places. Immediately in a few days I felt at home and very comfortable.”
Curiosity: Grand Central Terminal is one of the settings of the cartoon Madagascar.
Alessia Campana and Viviana Gallo to Valerio Manna:
Alessia & Viviana-“The queues for famous places, we know, are interminable. How long did you wait to visit the top of the Rock Tower? Valerio-“More than the queue we had to wait for our turn, because to avoid confusion the visitors are divided in different time bands. Fortunately, in the Rockefeller Centre area it is difficult to get bored thanks to the numerous entertainments, such as the TV studios of the NBC and the various shops, including the Lego store. So between shops, visits and jokes to German tourists, our turn finally arrived.”
Alessia & Viviana –“For sure admiring the landscape you had a thousand thoughts, which was your prevailing one?” Valerio-“The view from “The top of rock” is breathtaking; I don’t even know how to describe it. When you are in front of such a show, you are overwhelmed by thousands emotions. The first thing that I felt though was disbelief; it’s such a paradox but it was really hard for me to believe that I was in Manhattan, on the Rockefeller Tower, in front of the Empire State Building after that I desired it for a long time.”
